Another light

Poem Body

We stroll
down
the street
in strife.
Yearning
for a
valued life .
But we
always
knew.
It would
never
be true.
So soon
our goal
sailed
out of sight .
As we
found
another
light.
That burns
right
Through the
dark.

Broadening
our eyes to
where for the
first time
They finally see
the daylight that
went a stray .
Hiding itself
away behind
the raspy realms
midnight.
