Another Untold Story

Poem Body

I would have left
if I don’t love you,
after the beginning,
before the music ended,
even in your highest of high,
and on your days of lowest low,
more so on your most confusing times.

I should have done more,
than wait late into the night
or cooked your favorite dish,
should have watched you in your sleep
and played a mistress in your dreams
should have been more than you expected,
else I should have left before I felt like this..

I could have just walked away,
but I could not just leave,
I could not just run away,
‘coz I know I love you more,
the broken glasses are still on the floor,
I’ll pick up the scattered pieces
And turn the page to another untold story.

This poem...although I haven't being in love...i know leaving someone you genuinely love is the hardest thing to do...nice poem, I love it
