Dead End

Poem Body

Igniting my engine,
I started wheeling
in the lanes between my ears
from a state of inertia
fueled by a desire
for a smooth drive

slowing down at the bends
without needing to brake
driving at a steady pace
to the rhyme of my engine

i lost count of the miles
didn't know how far is left to go
then pulled up at the sign
reading "Welcome to Writers Block"
forcing me to pull up
having reached the dead end
muttering in vain
"what a waste"
looking around for a coffee shop
to refresh and have a leak

to writer's block, but don't surrender to it
I think the first stanza needs to be reworked.
Your title is expressive. I liked the use of simile through out. I can relate to this dear raj as my life is really choatic these days. Hope it won't last for long.
