I am a man named fallible
Been wrong on all accounts
I’ve never kept a ledger of
The dates or the amounts
I operate on impulse
It often leads astray
I try to quantify results
I’m trying harder every day
I recognize the patterns
From which I’m stepping back
I cultivate new habits
To help me stay on track
I made new friends with patience
Who brought humility
I am a man named fallible
Because that man is me

Fallible
Hello, Tim!
A humbling and inspiring poem for all of us! Nice tight rhythm and rhyme. (As usual with your amazing poetry.)
I know you are busy with all your creative outlets - hope you are well!

I think...
You have it under control. Your rhyme and meter are as always, right on point. I see nothing that I would fix or change. Nice job!

Hit it out of the park
I think most of us can relate at times of being fallible. I like that the poem ended in a positive way. So many poems are grim and leave me sad. All we can do is try everyday to be the best version of ourselves.

Wow, this is so honest and direct and I love it.
The rhyme scheme is melodic, I could sing it.
The way you have gone through the phases of self doubt and failure speaks volumes of being human.
But I love the last stanza in particular as it gives the reader a lesson without being over the top and its delivery is so simple it almost makes you stop and recap every word that you've read.
Great job, loved it, Ruby :)

I give you five out of five stars for both the poetry and the top drawer human being that you are!
