Happy is an Inside Job

Poem Body

In this place of inner peace
I aspire to reside
Within the sphere of my control
Is where I might decide

Sow the seeds of happiness
Plant and tend with care
Or just neglect the garden
Or water it with fears

Maybe make no choice at all
Then certainly I’d lose
Happy is an inside job
One I have to choose

And such an honest write! Sometimes choosing positive feels absolutely impossible. It feels like the well of happiness runs dry when we desperately need it most. Where I am on some things at the moment as well, hoping that since one positive came through, perhaps the rest will follow suit. Wishing you all the best and always here if you need an ear.

Positive is a good aim. Keep your eyes on the prize! Just concentrate on the good things, I know that you can do it!
