Poem Body

Brown book
pages shorn
slipping free
a stream
in puddles of
reflection
Pain bending
winces like
the wink of thermo
stars
tiny dancing daggers
a breeze is getting
your chapter
twisting beneath
the dark shadows
of the rolling cars

Dog eared emotion
chapter twenty still
reeked
like cold gusts
shaking this
moved archive
collection
free

forgotten books
tired looks
importance receeding
life becomes an echo
emblem ornament
Something to the Pride

pages are pangs of
memory
ice mornings
frosted branches
the rest of the
chapters
sparred

engage life
shifting gears
hanging on
to the moment
though
the peripheral
papers
sacred to one
now rarer
meaningful
visionary

but I want them FAT not dark.
Pain and piercing daggers and reeking pages
in a contrast to the morning frost.
I love your rollercoaster and will search for more
