quantum confusion

Poem Body

time jumps
winks in and out
within the matrix of
the collective hallucination

each quantum-microsecond
it recreates
every scene
every dream

so, at moments -
those between the nows -
I have nowhere
to physically exist

where am I
who am I
when time is not?
.

About the Author

Region, Country: Western Australia, AUS

Favorite Poets: Favourite poets? So many, so varied. I like particular songs, not necessarily the singer... and the same goes for poetry. I can honestly say though, that Alfred Noyes' The Highwayman was what inspired my love of poetry - my mother began reading it to me when I was still a baby, and it became my favourite bedtime story

A lovely write.
You are of the now, a fleeting moment fixed as it happens in the past.
Now is the only physical reality, a moment of being then what you were is fixed for ever.
There the stars as you will assemble in and out of being for eternity.
Yours, of the now, and stretching back for many years, Ian xx

I have edited this a little -- annoying how one is never really able to express the thought adequately - I so wish I had half the talent of Kipling.... I've edited, and it's getting closer perhaps... We are outside of this now....

is spelled wrong. Ain't quantum theory fun? Some of it postulates that the universe would not even exist without an observer. There are even those who posit time can be traveled by skipping all "points" between one place and another and going straight from point A to point F.Time is the "i" in tic, tic can't exist without the i and the i is unnoticed unless it's part of tic............did that clarify things to at least the clarity of lead? lol.......stan

Thanks for the pointing out of the typo.... I've deleted the word anyway, as it wasn't what I wanted to say....

So much of quantum theory has the clarity of lead to me... lol ... but it fascinates me...

this poem is very classically written with finesse. there is a Nigerian poet who wrote this ; the stars have departed,
the sky in monocle
surveys the world under

the stars have departed,
and I;
where am I
stretch stretch o antennae ,
to clutch at this hour
fulfilling each moment in a broken monody..
this write is very tremendous, I really enjoyed it
