as to why Darkness is black...
bruised, she is - that's why
co-ordination being something she
definitely seems to lack
every evening she gracefully approaches, then
falls
gowned in jewels and shiny clouds of
homespun gossamer silk
inelegance seems something unconnected, but she's
jinxed to slip, evey time, on the Way of Milk -
kismet – her fate to
leave bruises to add depth and
meld with colours of the apex of
night’s bewitching cloak
open is the heart of the poor lovely Lady Nyx
painfully impulsive
quixotic, un-consummated
romantically chasing golden warm heat
skipping through the millenniums
tripping and falling where she and Helios meet
(unusually clumsy, in my opinion)
vexing is the knowledge that every time they greet she
will continue to
xerox the same tumbling act
(you'd really think she'd, by now, be much more
zealous of where she places her feet)

Hello Judy
This is really brilliant. I have never tried this form though I always like to do. Are you tempting me:)?
I thought sonnets are easier. And LOL I love the word "Kismat". Did you know that it is an Arabic name/ word?
be tempted
It was fun
and yes, I did know the origin of 'kismet'
Thanks for the supportive comment Rula

Just forgot to mention
you've used the "C" twice, and forgot all about the poor "G" :)
thanks Rula for the great comment
Still laughing at myself
I had 'gowned' there at poor 'g' .... then when I posted it and read it before submitting, I for the moment, forgot it was an abcderious, and decided that 'crowned' was a better descriptive.... pmsl
I think I may be getting old person's syndrome
love judy
