The Wild Side Of Oblivion

Poem Body

Meet me on the wild side of oblivion
by shadowed moon light
we can play at being
what we will never be by day

Smoke filled skies
essence of dust filled dreams
astride a pure white stallion
with lightening hooves

In fields of poppies and lavender
petals for a bed
there to sleep between the raindrops
and be as one
Only on the wild side of oblivion

lovedly

about oblivion
my personal loved word
but not that side
yet
this side of oblivion
as I still live on

Hello, Chrys,
The Wild Side of Oblivion - somehow the title is fitting, even though the poem feels peaceful, calm, and tame. I could read this several times and travel a different magical trip each time. Dreamlike.
Thank you!

Got a typo on first line. The wild side of oblivion is where I'd like to live but I reckon her in my cabin in the woods will suffice.Liked your image laden poem
