Writer’s Block

Poem Body

There’s a cloud in my head
Threatening to sabotage my youth
The free flow of wisdom
Succumbing itself to silence

An eternity of deliverance
Gone out of nowhere
A place of prejudice
Where sanity lives abundantly

There are others who suffer
The same state of numbness
A hollowed inside
With nothing in between

What’s the sense in telling?

Have I gone mad…thinking?

No! Nothing…

…and the cursor keeps on blinking…

Of course it is OK to repost something from the old site many poets lost a lot of work there..
This is a long thrashed title and thing we all suffer, I am waiting for your poetry of where you are, and the way you feel about many things that we may never see, as lots of us cannot travel to places of such variety.
I was honoured to be taught of the peace inside by a person from your country, if only it could be bottled and sent out, but this is where your words come in, they could be the container of such essence.
Take care have a lovely day, Yours Ian.T

..i shall write of that, to gather such information, and make it as an inspiration..to refill the emptiness that haunts..and find the essence of being..to capture a moment and put it into writing.. thanks for the guidance.. :)

I'm not going to wax poetic, Arja. The wellspring of inspirtaion manifests as a trickle or a torrent. My reaction is to try writing anyway to instill my discipline. I have stories, a novella, and a few poems I'm working on right now. If one isn't working, I go to another. I love finishing the frame of a poem in one writing but sometimes it just doesn't happen. What I tell you is perhaps bullshit, as is what anyone else here tells you regarding your work or processes. The only thing we all have in common that gives us the best chance at expressing our individual existence(s) is to write down everything personally and recognizing that it is you that you wish to express, not what is "in" or "cool" or the prevailing patterns of 2012 poetry. I want poetry to point toward truth and be non-staid. I can't wait to hear what you submit next.

Take care,

Ron

..writing in itself, is something I find magical..it's not that I can't find anything to write about..it's too much vision of words..I just can't seem to know where to start.. ..but i'll take a hint from everybody's advice.. ..not to worry, i'll somehow find my way to that magical place..

I read a few writers block poem. You expressed it well. I can't honestly say I've ever had writer's block. I have much to say and write about all the time, but formulating my words in good structured poetry without the typos and grammar errors is challenging. So that causes a cloud in that space in my poetic thinking. So I just start writing what's there then try to fix it as I write or later. Enjoy reading and understanding what writer's block really feels like.
