Renga 6 Enmity dies friendships blossom

Let enmity die
so that friendship blooms anew
in its true beauty
rid self of clandestine thoughts
dissembling friendship dark doubts

Back to back under
a sprouting spring tree swaying
no words are needed
carving letters on the bowl
joining like souls for ever.

Letters may wither
yet the bowl will symbolize
delight in sharing
cattle graze where old house stood
memories of past lingers

A Special Renga Love and Sunset

Red glaucoma eyes
dry itchy blurred cornea
seize a sunset drop
maybe from a glass of wine
too many too see clear

Tears blur the vision
are these tears for the sunset
or are they for you
beautiful as it maybe
the tears are for both of us

My love remember
it was me that held your heart
draining the life blood
weak in the knees, falling short
of the balance between us
