INTENSE IMAGINATION

Poem Body

Pallid the sky
bleached by summers sun
ghost blue behind the standing trees
an audience to the heavens
that empty place
we fill with our illusory ideas
perfection in the geometry
of our joys and fears
make tangible our thoughts
on strings of harps
and angels wings

so many things we bring to life
with our intense imagination
creating peace
disturbing peace
no peace finding

we humans walk this earth
like kings and queens
a birthright not deserved
while other animals and birds
look on askance
and think we are absurd.

I also like the "geometry/of our joys and fears." It makes me think of Kaprman's Drama Triangle: victim-persecutor-rescuer.

I rather like being absurd, though.

there's truth in this stanza.

so many things we bring to life
with our intense imagination
creating peace
disturbing peace
no peace finding

Well done.

Beautiful, but honest account of mans actions on this planet. If only the masses could understand this, perhaps we may still have time to help heal this planet. Love Roscoe...
